Abstract
By applying sufficient pressure on polystyrene (PS) nanospheres, the mobility of the polymer chains can be greatly enhanced in the case far below the Tg of bulk PS and thereby all the chains in the nanospheres can flow. This work demonstrates the existence of the core-shell structure of PS nanospheres and the shell layer with high segmental mobility is the key factor to realizing the cold flow.209
