Abstract
Supplemental activator and reducing agent atom transfer radical polymerization (SARA ATRP) and electrochemically mediated atom transfer radical polymerization (eATRP) of N-isopropylacrylamide were well controlled with relatively low concentration of CuIIBr2/Me6TREN complex (500 ppm), at high water content (84 wt% in H2O) and at low temperature of 0 °C. Diblock copolymers with molecular weights close to theoretical values and with narrow molecular weight distribution were prepared.205
