Abstract
Highly cross-linked melamine-based porous polymer networks in good yields (up to 90%) were rapidly prepared via microwave irradiation. These copolymers with high nitrogen content (up to 50Â wt%) and in situ doped with sulfur, showed a strong adsorbability and excellent selectivity for Hg2+ in acidic aqueous media.
