Abstract
The first [4Â +Â 2] inverse electrodemand heterocycloaddition between hydroxytelechelic oligoisoprenes and the benzylidene pyruvic methyl ester promoted by tin tetrachloride is described. A partial hydrogenation of hydroxytelechelic oligoisoprenes was necessary to selectively promote the cycloaddition.
