Abstract
A series of cerium modified MnOx/TiO2 catalysts were prepared by sol–gel method and used for low-temperature selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NOx with ammonia. The experimental results showed that NO conversion could be improved by doping Ce from 39% to 84% at 80 °C with a gas hourly space velocity (GHSV) of 40,000 h−1. This activity improvement may be contributed to the increase of chemisorbed oxygen and acidity after Ce doping. TPR results also verified that the redox property of Ce modified MnOx/TiO2 was enhanced at low-temperature.
