Abstract
Three new hyperbranched polymers (P1-P3) were prepared by copolymerization of tribromoaryl moieties (triphenylamine, carbazole and fluorene moieties) with 9,9-dihexylfluorene-2,7-bis(trimethyleneborate) from “A2Â +Â B3” approach based on Suzuki polycondensation reaction. They are soluble in common organic solvents, and exhibit good thermal stable luminescence. Interestingly, unlike most of fluorene-containing polymeric materials, P3 emits strong green light due to its special structure. Double-layer devices with configurations ITO/PEDOT/Polymer (50Â nm)/TPBI(50Â nm)/LiF(0.5Â nm)/Al(80Â nm) were fabricated and emitted blue or green light, with maximum luminance in the range of 25-142Â cd/m2 and the current efficiency up to 0.18Â cd/A.
