Abstract
An easy and efficient catalyst, copper nanoparticles in ionic liquid has been synthesized and characterized by powder XRD, TEM, UV–Vis spectroscopy. A simple and coupling between thiazolidine-2,4-dione (TZD), aromatic aldehyde and ammonium acetate using copper nanoparticles in an ionic liquid as a catalyst to give corresponding products in high yields and in short duration.
