Abstract
A new dual-phase composite membrane made of Sm0.15Ce0.85O1.925 and Sm0.6Sr0.4Fe0.7Al0.3O3−δ was reported. The membrane shows good oxygen permeation flux and high stability for syngas production. 1100 h operation under syngas generation in the composite membrane reactor was reported to verify the stability of the materials under both strongly oxidative and reducing environments. XRD and SEM results showed that there is no difference between the spent and as-prepared membranes.
