Abstract
In the present work, efficient epoxidation of olefins with hydrogen peroxide catalyzed by Na5[PV2Mo10O40] supported on TiO2 nanoparticles, PVMo–TiO2, in acetonitrile is reported. The PVMo–TiO2 catalyst was characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, UV–Vis, XRD, CV and SEM techniques. Ultrasonic irradiation increased the catalytic activity of the catalyst, reduced the reaction times and increased the products yields. The catalyst was reused several times without significant loss of its catalytic activity.
