Abstract
The modifications of Pd/Al2O3 catalysts were carried out by adding different metals Na, Cu, Ni and Co to improve the catalytic reduction of NO in a simulated flue gas containing 6% O2. Na addition was very effective in promoting the NO conversion of Pd/Al2O3 catalysts at 300–400 °C with the concentration ratio of CO/NO equal to 1. Adding Cu also improved the NO conversion of Pd/Al2O3 catalysts at 250–300 °C. The contents of O2 and reductants in the flue gas have significant influences on NO reduction.
