Abstract
Dendritic Sn complexes were successfully incorporated to chloromethyl polystyrene through solid phase synthesis methodology and exhibited to be promising catalysts for the Baeyer-Villiger oxidation of ketones with hydrogen peroxide. Several cyclic and acyclic ketones were oxidized by hydrogen peroxide in a reaction catalyzed by these polymer-supported dendritic Sn complexes with high conversion and selectivity. The catalysts can be prepared in large scale in a simple manner without the utilization of any expensive materials and can be recycled as heterogeneous catalysts.
