Abstract
The ligand L1 has been synthesized as a fluorescent chemosensor based on excited state intramolecular proton transfer (ESIPT) which undergoes AcOâ/Fâ triggered sharp fluorescence enhancement towards Zn2+ in a co-operative fashion to form L1(Oâ)âZn2+ with stoichiometry 2:1 in acetonitrile solvent system.179
