Abstract
The reaction of (octakis(4-tert-butyl-phenyl)tetraazaporphyrinato) manganese(III) acetate ((AcO)MnTAP(p-t-BuC6H4)8) with 2â²-(4-pyridyl)-5â²-(2-pyridyl)-1â²-(3-pyridylmethyl)-pyrrolidino[3â²,4â²:1,2][60]fullerene (Py3F) in toluene was studied by methods of chemical kinetics and UV, visible, IR and 1H NMR spectroscopy. The interaction is found to result in the formation of 1:1 donor-acceptor complex whose structure was determined. A negative value of a complex formation order with respect to Py3F was established and explained. The kinetic equation can be used in the development of technology of metal tetraazaporphyrin-fullerene dyad production.
