Abstract
A facile strategy to construct microsheets assembled from 9-substituted anthracene-pyridinium compounds (APs) has been developed. With the different length of linkers, APs could form the ‘v’-shaped dimer or ‘face-to-face’ dimer, respectively, driven by CH–π interactions and π-stacking interactions, which consequently lead to the assembly of final microsheets.
