RETRACTED: A room temperature copper catalyzed N-selective arylation of β-amino alcohols with iodoanilines and aryl iodides

Despite several attempts, we have not been able to contact the first author, Priyabrata Das.Although we have verified that all the compounds (with the exception of compounds 21h-l in Table 3) could be prepared through the synthetic route outlined in the manuscript, further research in the author's laboratory indicated that the ligand acceleration effects and reaction yields cannot be reliably reproduced. Although it appears that the observed variability is related to the source of the CuI catalyst, we currently do not understand the exact underlying issues. Apologies are offered to the readers of the journal that this irreproducibility was not detected by the corresponding author before the submission and publication process.
