Abstract
Chemically diverse oxysterols and their synthetic manipulations were carried out from variety of Î8(9)-lanosterol derivatives and evaluated for their in vitro antimicrobial activities. Most of the synthesized oxysterols exhibited significant antifungal activity against the tested strains.
