Abstract
At room temperature, 4-ethoxy-1,1,1-trifluorobut-3-en-2-one reacted with alkali metal salts of diethyl malonate to give two kinds of complexes. One is the solvent molecule-involved complexes, and the other is a sheer ion aggregates composed by alkali metal cation and carbanion. Both crystals are fully characterized by spectroscopic methods and single crystal X-ray diffraction analyses.
