Abstract
The first multicomponent synthesis of tetrahydropyrimidinthiones has been realized via the four-component assembly of aromatic aldehyde, enaminone, aromatic amine, and thiourea. The reaction was performed at room temperature and the products were obtained in excellent diastereoselectivity.
