Abstract
SnCl2·2H2O mediated efficient synthesis of pyrano[2,3-b]pyridines was achieved by the Friedländer reaction of 2-amino-3-cyano-4H-pyrans with cyclopentanone/cyclohexanone under solvent-free condition.
