Abstract
1,2-Dihydro-1-acyl-2-((E)-alk-1â²-enyl)-pyridine, -quinoline and isoquinoline derivatives are prepared in good yields via an efficient procedure involving di-alkyl alk-1-enyl alanates. This simple one pot protocol affords useful and interesting poly functionalised intermediates in organic synthesis.
