Abstract
Two phosphinites, 5a and 5b, were employed as effective ligands in palladium catalyzed Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reactions. The best results come with the ratio of 5a/Pd(OAc)2 equals 2:1. It is 1:1 for 5b/Pd(OAc)2.
