Abstract
Tri-aluminum substituent polyoxometalate Na4H3[SiW9Al3(H2O)3O37]·12H2O was demonstrated to be an efficient catalyst without any phase-transfer catalyst with H2O as solvent (a small quantity of organic solvents was used as co-solvent for a few substrates) under mild reaction conditions.
