Abstract
The low and high temperature bromination reactions of bromobenzonorbornadiene derivatives were studied and the possible role of a neighboring group in rearrangements was investigated. New polybrominated benzonorbornadiene and benzonorbornene derivatives were synthesized. All compounds were characterized properly using NMR spectroscopy.
