Abstract
Magdalenic acid and bismagdalenic acid (2), two terpenoid acids have been isolated and described from the Brazilian plant Vellozia magdalenae. Bismagdalenic acid is a rare example of a bis-diterpenoid apparently produced by a Diels Alder-style condensation of magdalenic and ozic acids.
