Abstract
We report for the first time the use of CexZr1−xO2 solid solutions as supports for Ru catalysts to be implemented in the catalytic wet air oxidation of 2-chlorophenol. Such catalytic systems appeared to be very efficient, even at low temperature (393 K) and low pressure (3 MPa), and exhibited a great advantage over Ru/CeO2 or Ru/ZrO2.
