- We report the efficient synthesis of diboronic acids containing two pyrazole rings.
- The reaction involves lithiation-boronation sequence at low temperature.
- The mechanism of the lithiation involves deprotonation at the α-position.
- The X-ray analysis revealed the presence of a variety of structural motifs.
