Abstract
We report a new in situ borylation method of aryl or vinyl halides and triflates using tetrakis(dimethylamino)diboron, DMA4B2, as a borylating agent in the presence of a diol. Reaction conditions and catalysts closely follow the Miyaura Pin2B2-borylation. A broad range of substrates, solvents and diols are suitable for this reaction making the in situ borylation protocol very attractive for borylation applications at commercial scale.
