Abstract
A highly regio- and stereoselective aminobromination of β-methyl-β-nitrostyrenes with K3PO4 as catalyst and BocNH2/BocNBr2 as nitrogen/bromine has been established. The N-protecting group was removed under simple and mild condition, giving free bromoamines.
