Abstract
A silver-catalyzed formation of two C-C bonds for the construction of a series of polysubstituted quinolines from arylamines, aldehydes, and ketones or arylamines and 1,3-diketones has been developed. The transformation is effective for a broad range of substrates, including aliphatic, aromatic, cyclo ketone, and 1,3-diketone, thus enabling the expansion of constituent architectures on the heterocyclic framework.
