Abstract
Among numerous reactions to prepare cyclophane derivatives, Claisen rearrangement reaction is very useful. We have prepared cyclophanes containing ethylene oxy bridge by double Claisen rearrangement reaction and ring-closing metathesis reaction as key steps.
