Abstract
Silica-supported zinc bromide (ZnBr2/SiO2) is an efficient heterogeneous catalyst for the rapid synthesis of ynones by cross-coupling of acid chlorides with terminal alkynes in good to excellent yields under solvent-free conditions at room temperature.
