Abstract
Among other constituents, a new β-decadione was isolated as the major keto-enol tautomer 5 from the n-hexane extract of Platanus acerifolia's fresh unripe buds. In parallel, structures 8 and 9 were definitively assigned to the previously reported grenoblone and 4-hydroxygrenoblone.
