Abstract
Selective oxidation of styrene to benzaldehyde was carried out over microporous nickel phosphates VSB-5 and CoVSB-5, both of which exhibited promising catalytic activities of styrene oxidation with H2O2 in acetone solution. Styrene conversion and selectivity to benzaldehyde reached 28% and 94% over VSB-5, respectively. This styrene conversion could reach at 57% with a higher benzaldehyde selectivity of more than 70% over CoVSB-5.
