Abstract
An unprecedented asymmetric aza-Friedel-Crafts reaction of sesamol with N-sulfonylimines has been reported. A variety of N-sulfonylimines reacts with sesamol derivatives in the presence of 6â²-OH Cinchona alkaloids to provide a new series of chiral aminophenol adducts in good yield and good to high level of enantioselectivity.
