Abstract
An efficient procedure for the synthesis of a series of 1-bromo-1,4-dienes by a simple Pd-catalyzed intermolecular tandem reaction of alkynes, CuBr2, and allylic alcohol has been developed. The reaction proceeds smoothly under mild condition to give the corresponding products in good to excellent yields.
