Abstract
A near-infrared (NIR) fluorescent chemodosimeter for Fâ was developed on the basis of dicyanomethylene-4H-chromene derivative, with several merits such as a high off/on ratio response, NIR fluorescence, and high selectivity to Fâ. The Fâ triggered specific Si-O cleavage of DCPOSi to release DCPOâ is responsible for the dramatic color change and distinct NIR fluorescence enhancement at 718Â nm.
