Abstract
An efficient and chemoselective Pd-catalyzed B-alkyl Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling of tri-n-alkylboranes with arylbromides possessing acidic functions is described. This protocol features the relatively weak base Cs2CO3 and mild non-aqueous conditions. Aldehydes, ketones, nitriles, and chloro substitution are all tolerated.
