Abstract
An expedient synthetic approach of naphthalenes was developed by the reaction of Morita-Baylis-Hillman bromides and arylacetylenes. The synthesis was carried out via a tandem copper-catalyzed alkynylation, propargyl-allenyl isomerization, and 6Ï-electrocyclization protocol.
