Abstract
Facile synthetic method of polysubstituted pyridine derivatives was developed starting from the Baylis-Hillman adducts. The reaction involved sequential introduction of tosylamide, Michael addition, aldol condensation, elimination of p-toluenesulfinic acid, and isomerization process.
