Abstract
Tricyclic compounds that are advanced precursors for the synthesis of analogs of the antitumoral alkaloid pancratistatin were prepared by a short sequence that involved enzymatic dihydroxylation, epoxidation, and intramolecular Huisgen cycloaddition.
