Abstract
UV irradiation at 350Â nm of bisphenyl carbodiazone creates nitrogen, phenyl and (phenyldiazenyl)carbonyl radicals under mild conditions. The radicals formed were trapped by olefins and tetramethylpiperidinoxyl radicals.
