Abstract
Photoreaction of 2,3-dicyanonaphthalene with methoxy-substituted 1,2-diarylcyclopropanes in benzene gave alkylated naphthalene derivatives via excited singlet of 2,3-dicyanonaphthalene. Fluorescence of the photoalkylated products showed intense intramolecular exciplex emission.
