Abstract
A Pd-catalyzed asymmetric allylic alkylation with nitromethane using an aspartic acid-derived P-chirogenic diaminophosphine oxide [(S,RP)-Ph-DIAPHOX] is described. This method was successfully applied to enantioselective synthesis of (R)-preclamol and (R)-baclofen.
