Abstract
Heteroatoms of boron and iron were incorporated into the framework of zeotype materials with CHA topology, and the materials were used as catalysts for the methanol-to-olefin (MTO) process. IR characterization showed that stretching vibration of the hydroxyl groups associated with the framework Fe appeared at 3615 cm−1. The catalysts exhibited interesting catalytic performance in the MTO reaction, which was attributed to their weak Brönsted acidities as well as the CHA topology.
