Rhodium catalyzed hydroformylation of conjugated dienes: Remarkable accelerative effect of triphenylphosphine

The increase in the concentration of the phosphorous ligand strongly accelerates the rhodium catalyzed hydroformylation of conjugated dienes, that allows to perform the reaction under mild conditions (80–100 °C, 40–80 atm) using a low cost and readily accessible ligand: triphenylphosphine (P/Rh = 20–500).
