Abstract

- Superhydrophobic polyethylene terepthalate fabric is fabricated via the sequential deposition of polydopamine, Ag2O, and 1H,1H,2H,2H-perfluorodecanethiol.
- The so-obtained superhydrophobic fabric is ultra-stable under sever laundering conditions.
- The so-obtained SF shows high anti-bacterial activity due to the surface silver species and the non-wettability.
