Abstract
Sc and C co-doped TiO2 nanoparticles were synthesized through simple sol-gel method, which decreased the crystallite size of the nanoparticles and increased the lifetime of the photo-induced charge carriers. The Sc and C co-doped samples showed significantly high photoactivity as compared to the single C-doped TiO2 nanoparticles.
