Abstract
- The growth behavior of alumina nanofibers via pyrophosphoric acid anodizing was investigated.
- The nanomorphology of the nanofibers can be controlled by the electrochemical conditions.
- Numerous high-aspect-ratio alumina nanofibers (>100) can be successfully fabricated.
- The alumina nanofibers consists of an amorphous, pure aluminum oxide.
