Abstract
- The adsorption of Be and Mg adatoms on graphene is physisorption.
- Ca, Sr, and Ba adatoms bond ionically to graphene and the most stable adsorption site for them is hollow site.
- The zero band gap semiconductor graphene becomes metallic and magnetic after the adsorption of Ca, Sr, and Ba adatoms.
