Abstract
In this work we perform successful engineering of the anode of organic photovoltaics based on poly(3-hexylthiophene):[6,6]-phenyl butyric acid methyl ester blends by using metal oxide transport layers exhibiting shallow gap states which act as a barrier-free path for hole transport toward the anode.
